VIDEO: U.S. Confirms No Troop Injuries After Iran’s Missile Strike on Bases in Qatar and Iraq

The U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed that no U.S. military personnel were injured and no damage was reported following Iran’s missile attack on American bases in Qatar and Iraq on June 23.

According to official statements:

  • Qatar’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted all incoming missiles over Al Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. military facility in the Middle East, which hosts approximately 10,000 U.S. troops.
  • The Pentagon echoed this, reporting that while the missiles were launched by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), no casualties or structural damage occurred.

This retaliatory strike, named by Tehran as “Operation Tidings of Victory,” was reportedly in response to recent U.S. airstrikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities.

In response to the heightened threat, countries including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE temporarily closed their airspace, and U.S. citizens in the region were advised to shelter in place by the U.S. Embassy in Doha .

President Trump and senior military officials are closely monitoring the situation, with the White House Situation Room reportedly convening to assess potential further escalation .

With the successful interception and no reported casualties, officials say this marks a limited escalation. However, fears persist about further Iranian or proxy activity targeting U.S. infrastructure or personnel in the region.
