NEW: Trump Reveals Embarrassing Defeat For Iran As US Thwarts 111 Missiles In Strait Of Hormuz

President Donald Trump claimed Tuesday that Iranian forces launched 111 missiles at a U.S. aircraft carrier during a major confrontation in the Middle East, saying American defenses intercepted every incoming projectile before it could strike the vessel.

Speaking about the encounter, Trump praised the speed and precision of U.S. missile defense systems while describing the enormous pressure facing American servicemembers during such attacks.

“Out of 111 missiles going at 3,000 miles an hour, all 111 missiles were knocked down into the ocean long prior to arriving at the target,” Trump said.

The president added that sailors had only seconds to react.

“They got like about 13 seconds to make a decision. They make a wrong calculation, you lose a LOT of men, and a lot of billion dollar ships,” Trump said.

Trump did not specify exactly when the attack occurred or identify the aircraft carrier involved. However, his comments come as tensions between the United States and Iran remain elevated following clashes tied to the ongoing conflict surrounding the Strait of Hormuz and the broader Iran war.

Reports tied to the conflict have described repeated missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. naval assets operating near the Persian Gulf. Trump has previously touted the Navy’s success in intercepting Iranian missiles and drones during recent operations in the region.

The president’s remarks quickly spread across social media, with supporters highlighting the reported effectiveness of American missile defense technology and the military’s ability to stop a massive incoming barrage without casualties.

Military analysts have long warned that saturation attacks involving large numbers of missiles are designed to overwhelm even advanced defense systems. Trump’s comments suggested the U.S. Navy successfully defeated such an attack without suffering damage to the carrier.
