BREAKING: Vanessa Trump Announces Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr. and mother of five of President Donald Trump’s grandchildren, announced Wednesday that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. At 48 years old, Vanessa described the news as unexpected but emphasized her proactive approach to treatment and the strong support surrounding her.

“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me,” Trump announced in an Instagram post.

“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me. Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”

She went on to express optimism, stating that she is “feeling hopeful” and committed to her recovery plan. Details about the specific stage or type of cancer have not been publicly disclosed, but the timing of a recent medical procedure suggests early detection and intervention.

Vanessa Trump, 47, worked as a model, appeared in multiple films and was involved in a number of additional business ventures before marrying into the Trump family. Vanessa married Donald Trump Jr. in 2005 at Mar-a-Lago before the couple split in 2018, though they have continued to co-parent their five children amicably.

The couple’s five children are Kai, the president’s oldest granddaughter and aspiring professional golfer, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.

Vanessa currently resides in Florida and has been spotted at a number of the family’s most high-profile events in recent years, including the 2024 RNC and 2025 inauguration. Since late 2024, she has been dating golf legend Tiger Woods.

The Trump family quickly responded to Vanessa’s announcement with prayers and well wishes. “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you, mama,” Ivanka Trump commented on Vanessa’s Instagram post.

Prominent figures and the public have echoed sentiments of hope on social media, with many sending prayers for a full recovery.

Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women, with early detection significantly improving outcomes. Health experts have reacted to Vanessa’s announcement by highlighting the importance of regular screenings and medical vigilance.
